Jack DURDEN Obituary


Family-Placed Death Notice

DURDEN, Jack P. Jack P. Durden, 89, of Jonesboro, died on February 12. He served his country in the Army during World War II and survived 42 months in Japanese POW camps. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Wylene Durden; sons and their spouses, Greg Durden (Debra) of Jonesboro and Keith Durden (Penny) of Griffin; grandchildren Andrew Durden of Decatur, Emily Durden Yancey (Elliott) of Griffin, Joshua Sanders (Shaun) of Douglasville, and Montana Durden Baertschiger (Paul) of Jackson; and 4 great-grandchildren. The body was donated to the Emory University School of Medicine.
