Family-Placed Death Notice
Jackie Oneal (Shortman) Grindle departed this life on April 3, 2006. He was born to the late Dee and Nellie Grindle. He is survived by his eight children, Johnny Grindle, David (Shae) Grindle, Jackie Calhoun, Oneal Grindle, Elaine Grindle, Susie Lipscombe, Freedom Dennis, Joseph (Wayne) Carroll; two stepchildren, Leanna Carroll and Princess Dennis; four brothers, Bobby (Frances) Grindle, Eugene (Sharon) Grindle, Ralph (Margaret) Grindle and the late Donald (Mary) Grindle; seventeen grandchildren; a very special friend, Bobby Dennis and a host of nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 2:00 p.m., Memorial Baptist Church, 4476 Simpson Road, Forest Park, GA. Gregory B. Levett and Sons, Inc., South Dekalb Chapel, 4347 Flat Shoals Parkway, Decatur, GA (404) 241-5656.
