James GOULD Obituary

GOULD, Sr., James Mr. James Jerry Gould Sr., age 77 of Kennesaw, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Mr. Gould was born September 7, 1937 in Forrest, Mississippi. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for 32 years as an Air Traffic Controller. James had over 20,000 hours as a pilot and truly loved being in an airplane. However, more than his love for flying, his greatest joy was being a grandfather to his grandchildren. A daughter Luanne Cooper preceded Mr. Gould in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mrs. Sandra G. Gould; two sons, James Jerry Gould Jr., wife Deborah of Jackson, Mississippi, and Jay Gould, wife Shana of Acworth; one brother Robert H. Gould of Granbury, Texas, and two sisters, Glenda Adams of Jackson, Mississippi, and Amelia Gunter of Olive Branch, Mississippi; five grandchildren, Justin Gould, Jennifer McAlister, Jonathan Gould, Michael Cooper, and Carter Gould; and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service for Mr. James Jerry Gould will be announced at a later date. Condolences may be left at www.WinkenhoferPineRidgeFuneralHome.com

We were next door neighbors for 23 years. We spent many hours standing on the property line resolving the world's issues. I will greatly miss the times we spent talking. I hope Sassy (Jerry's dog) is doing well.
