JAMES GEORGE KOSTOPLIS James George Kostoplis, age 75, of Douglasville, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2007. He was the son of the late George Constantine Kostoplis and the late Gertrude Agnes Kostoplis, born in Hackensack, NJ; on April 9, 1932. His daughter, Terri Sizemore, also preceded him in death. Mr. Kostoplis was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, worked as the plant manager for Diamond Shamrock Chemical Plant, was retired as the district manager of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and was of the Episcopal faith. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Patricia L. Kostoplis of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Lt. James H. Kostoplis and wife, Stephanie of Hamilton, NJ; daughters and sons-in-law, Georgia Kato and husband Terry of Douglasville, and Andrea Oliver and husband, Mark of Marietta; sister and brother-in-law, Ginger Sonnenfield and husband Alfred of Beachwood, NJ; brother-in-law, Dave Milne, St. Helena Island, SC; step-children, Butch Allen, Rome, GA; Lisa Allen, VA; Donna Baker, Rome, GA; and Scott Allen, Alpharetta, GA; grandchildren, Jeffery, Jennifer, Jordan, and James Kostoplis, Graham Wiseman, Derrick Sizemore and Olivia Oliver; numerous step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 2:00 PM from Oaknoll Memorial Gardens in Rome, GA with Military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 10:00 AM until 12 Noon.
