James Strickland Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Mr. James Howell Strickland "Strick", 78 of Canton formerly of Roswell, died June 9, 2007. He was a native of Roswell. He was retired from Cleveland Electric and a member of I.B.E.W. # 613. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Strickland and Lelia Westbrook Strickland; brothers, Billy Strickland and Bobby Strickland. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beryl Strickland of Canton; daughters, Donna Jenkins and her husband Lyle of Canada, Debbie Strickland Marshall of Roswell, Dianne Strickland of Canton; sisters, Betty Smith, Joyce Strickland both of Cedar Town, Joan Boatwright and her husband Cliff, June Kitz all of Birmingham, Al.; brother, Jerry Strickland of Auburn; sisters-in-law, LaTrelle Strickland of Ball Ground, Myrna Faucette and her husband Thomas of Canton; grandchildren, Tom Bonner and his wife Tina, Shannon Marshall, Cole Spivia, Lyle Joseph Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Alex and Erin Bonner and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Jerry Dockery officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crabapple First Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of your choice. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 from 4-8:00 PM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory, Roswell 770-645-1414. www.northsidechapel.com
