Services for James H. Styles are 11:00 AM Saturday, April 5, 2025 in the Chapel of Hutchings Funeral Home, Inc with burial in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens, Macon, GA.
Mr. Styles was born in Leesburg, GA to the parentage of the late Rev. Lem and Malinda Robinson Style. He worked as a band director for Atlanta Public Schools and was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
Survivors include: children, Kim (Keith) O'Bryant and Charlene Styles Godfrey; sister, Ella S. Carter; grandson, Ethan Styles Godfrey; and a host of other relatives and friends. Hutchings Service.

I had the privilege of working with James while he taught band in the Atlanta Public Schools. He was a fine teacher and gentleman. His students and I are grateful for his talent and dedication. May God bless all his family members.

James and I worked together at a part time job and we shared good times just talking about various things. He introduced me to my wife Patricia and we have been married since Nov.1989. James was a great musician and teacher and he will be missed deeply by the music world. Rest in Peace James

Mr. Styles was a great band and music teacher at the Whitman Street school in TOCCOA, Georgia many years ago. We were inspired by his musical ability and leadership. The last time I saw him was at my cousin s retirement party about 10 years ago. He was still a very handsome and charming
Gentleman.
He has touched many lives , inspiring many. May his legacy continue to be a blessing to all of us.
