It's been 14 years and people are still talking about, remembering and thinking on you, Cuz. Including me. You are still able to make us smile, laugh, contemplate and ponder. And in this, you are immortal and never forgotten. But you are missed.. Much love

"Daddy T"!
That is the name that I called this great man of God. Deacon Tigner was a loving family man, church member, and a true friend to those whom were not his kin.
Today, I am just finding out this unfortunate news. I Googled you today Daddy T, only to find out that you are with the ancestors now.
While in communion with God, you came to my spirit. It was because of the Word that you planted in me when I was around 21 years old.
It has been two decades now and the Word that you planted is still growing within me. You were an earthly angel. And now you have taken your rightful place in Heaven.
I am saddened that I was unable to say goodbye. But thankfully, I was able to say thank you.
You taught me to give people their flowers while they live. And to always, no matter what, give credit to God.
Sharing your faith with me strengthed mine. I am higher in the Lord because of you and Mama T.
Thank you for what you did for me.
Rest in peace.
My thoughts are with the family.
In love,
Sharon Saffold

To Eric, Ethel, Gwen, Kierra, and Mary.
It grieved my heart so much when I heard that Mr. Tigner, "Dad" had passed on. It couldn't have been much more than a week ago that God placed him on my heart for several days. I told my daughters that "we needed to go and see Mr. Tigner since he hadn't seen them in a while and hadn't met my son yet". When God speaks in His gentle voice, though we may hear him speak, we need to act. It never dawned on me that it could be my last opportunity to see him. I will always remember Mr. Tigner for his big heart, his unselfish love for others, and how he always greeted with open arms. My condolences to you all and may you rest in God's assurance in your time of loss.

To the Tigner family,
Lift your eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh your help, your help cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth.
My prayers are with you.

Rev. Tigner and I worked together for a couple of years and he was so good to me and for me. He was like the grandfather that I never had. He made going to work fun. I will never forget his talks, teachings, and his love for his people. We have lost a great person. They don't make people like Mr. Tigner anymore. He was truely one of a kind. The heavens are dancing because he was truely a man of GOD!
