Family-Placed Death Notice
LEWIS, Jeff, Sr. Jeff Thomas Lewis, Sr., born November 16, 1927, passed away on February 27, 2009. He is survived by his wife Annie "Betty" E. Lewis. He leaves behind one brother, Jon (Jackie) Lewis of Bushnell, Florida. Survivors include six children, Kathy (Tom) Norton of Duluth; Jeff Jr. (Donna) of Cutler Bay, Florida; Terry Lewis (Ellen) of Stone Mountain; Tracy Lewis, Decatur; Karen Lewis, of McComb, Ohio; Holly Newberry of John's Creek, Georgia; five grandchildren, Glencora (Hunter) King, Lorinda (Tom) Dechman, Atlanta; Andy Lewis of Cutler Bay, Florida (Deceased); Ann Marie (Josh) of Miami, Florida; Benjamin Norton of Duluth, Georgia; one great-grandson, Thomas Alexander Dechman VI of Atlanta. He was a graduate of the University of Miami, Florida. He retired from the IRS in 1986. A celebration of his life is being held on Friday, March 13, 2009 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, Stone Mountain. His memorial service will be at the Northwoods United Methodist Church, 2635 Fairlane Drive, Doraville, GA at 3:00 pm, March 14, 2009. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Wages & Sons, Stone Mountain Chapel 770/469-9811.

Betty & Family-We are very sorry to hear that Jeff has left us. I worked with Jeff at the Service Center and was his across the street neighbor in Surrey Place. He was good man whom I always admired and respected. He was good friend from yesteryear. You and the family have my family's sympathy. May God bless you and welcome him in heaven with open arms.
