PVT 2nd Class Jeremy J. Wells

PVT 2nd Class Jeremy J. Wells, age 19, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away in a tragic accident on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 while serving our country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Smith; father and step-mother, Jeremiah (Jessica) Wells; sisters, Kylie Marie Wells (Christopher Robinson) Kenzie Wells, and Alexis Wells; brothers, Kaleb Wells and Dylan Wells; niece, Harmony Robinson; nephew, Gauge Robinson; grandparents, J.C. Gill, Frances Gill, Marsha Castaneda, and Buddy Castaneda and his girlfriend, Michelle "Gabbi" Melendez Pinto. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Frances K. Gill. Jeremy was born in Dunwoody, GA, was raised in Gwinnett County and lived his life throughout the state of Georgia. He attended Central Gwinnett High School and was a 2017 graduate of Adairsville High School. Jeremy joined the U.S. Army in 2017 where he graduated AIT school on June 25, 2018 with distinguished honors. He was currently stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY. He enjoyed art, playing guitar, poetry, but especially spending time with his brothers and sisters. Jeremy will be forever remembered for his love of life and his caring and compassionate nature. A funeral service honoring the life of Jeremy will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 2:00pm at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel.
