I am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing.
He hired me when I got out of the USAF and returned to Atlanta--and I worked there until I retired. He really enjoyed his Bellanca 300 during those years, flying out of Stone Mountain airport. We made several short trips together--one time using it for a service call to a hospital up in Blairsville.
He was dedicated to running a cost-effective service office in Atlanta. One of our favorite stories at Lanier was of the R&D director coming out of his building (1704 Chantilly Dr) late one afternoon and seeing Dan's legs sticking out of the dumpster as Dan retrieved discarded circuit boards in order to salvage some of the components for reuse.
We will miss him!
