Dr. "B" was not only a superior dentist, he was a wonderful human being. He was my dentist for nearly 20 years, and my mom also worked for him for several years. He always had a bright smile, kind word, or funny story to tell. He truly lit up the room with his vivaciousness. After I moved away from home, my friends and co-workers thought it unusual that I'd drive 2+ hours round trip for a dental appt. I'd just say "you've never met Dr. B". What a truly wonderful, generous person he was. My heart and prayers go out to his family, who I heard so many stories about through the years. I am so sorry for your loss.
Thanks for my smile, Dr. B. You will be sorely missed.

Linda and Family,
What a great shock to learn about Johnny this afternoon. We are at a loss for words but will always remember John's easy smile and all the laughter and good times during visits over our 37 years of knowing him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you tonight, tomorrow, and the weeks to come.

Dear Linda, Mark, Susan and Karen,

I don't think I could ever properly express the over whelming sadness and emptiness that will be felt by his "work family". I know it pales in comparison to what you all are feeling, but please know we are all here for all of you, and are praying for you. He will always be remembered as the funny, generous, caring, outstanding father, grandfather and boss who ever graced my life.

Linda,
Dan called me as soon as he read about John in The Atlanta Journal. We are so shocked and so saddened by this untimely loss. I contacted Claudette, and she in turn will contact Joy. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you and your children. It is so sad to know that you, my dear college roommate and friend, are experiencing such a great loss. May God comfort you and your family, and give you the strength and courage for the days and months ahead.

Dear Linda and family,

Our family wants to offer our deepest sympathy. Dr. Blanchard was our family dentist for many years when we lived in Clayton County. We will always remember him for his friendliness and great care. Our daughter continued using him until she, too, moved ten years ago. He will be greatly missed by many people. Our prayers will be with you and your family during this difficult time.

Dear Linda and Family:Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your loving husband and father. John's contributions to our community well-known, but his support of the Fayette CARE Clinic, however, is less so.The Clinic gives free medical and dental care to Fayette's many working, uninsured residents. John freely gave his time, skills and gentleness to dental patients badly in need of care and with nowhere to turn. He exemplified compassion and sought no personal recognition for his constant professional and financial support. His kindness, however, was evident to these patients, as well as to the other volunteers. We will miss him terribly.-Ginger Blackstone, friend and Fayette CARE Clinic VP

Dear Linda, Mark, Susan, and Karen,

I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Blanchard leaving us much to soon. He has been my dentist since he opened his office in Fayetteville. I believe he was the best of the best. He always had a funny story to tell us or a way of making each one feel special. He will be greatly missed! My heart is with you. My daughter, Gina, babysat for Mark, Susan and Karen when she was a teenager and she loved the whole family. May God comfort you in your loss.

Sincerely,

Betty Matsunaga Fisher

Dear Linda and family,
Daddy and I are so sorry to hear about John. We know he was a dedicated father, husband and a great dentist. We will never forget the purple doors he wanted when we helped remodel his dentistry office, the hugh skateboard ramp daddy built for John and we can't forget about his big black lab-Lightening! We always knew how much John was a family man and a wonderful dentist. He will truly be missed! He made a difference and touched many people. Please know that you are in our prayers. May God comfort you in this time of sorry and my you be surrounded by his glory and love.
God bless you,
Jack Mathis and Joy Ballard

I am so shocked and saddened to hear the news about Dr. Blanchard. He has been my dentist for 30 years. He always said my teeth were good but he would evenually get them because of my gums. My heart goes out to his family and wonderful office staff. I will miss my Huckleberry Friend.
