It was such a blessing to see Joe this summer and how happy he was to share with his family the old homestead and house where his parents first met. The time we spent visiting and the having the opportunity to meet my cousins was especially nice. BTW.... Joe and I were SINKING on the day that we had to be rescued by the Coast Guard. I had forgotten to put in the plugs and we were filling up with water. I never confessed that to him. Not a particularly fun day but certainly memorable.

I feel so blessed that Joe had a chance to come back to
Cape May with his family and visit all his old haunts. Our visit together that day was wonderful and my lasting memory of him will be his joy at being back home and seeing family. It was a privilege to have had that time together. He was just soooo happy. And yes, Joe and I were SINKING when we had to be rescued by the coast guard. He didn't know I had left the plug out of the sail boat.
