Juanita Schultheiss Obituary

SCHULTHEISS, Juanita

Juanita Eason Schultheiss, born on February 23, 1943, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2024, surrounded by her children, Brian and Christy, and daughter-in-law, Rachel Booe.

Juanita cherished her children and grandchildren, intertwining their lives with love and laughter. She was a proud Georgia lady who was born in Bremen, attended UGA, worked for Eastern Airlines, Kimberly Clark, and IBM in metro Atlanta. Juanita enjoyed travel, found joy in interior design and relaxing moments spent with her loved ones.

Throughout her life, Juanita experienced both the joys and challenges of independent living, and after her retirement she stepped up to care for her ailing parents for many years. Juanita was preceded in death by her father, C.N. "Sonny" Eason; and mother, Elouise Eason. She is survived by her daughter, Christy (Rachel); and son, Brian (Lauren – mother of Owen and Kathryn); along with her brother, Buddy (Sherry) Eason.

A private ceremony will be held later where Juanita's ashes will be interred in the Eason family plot at the City Cemetery in Bowdon, Georgia.

Juanita will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live in the hearts of her family and friends.

Christy and Brian would like to thank the compassionate staff at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville, and, in lieu of flowers, would prefer small donations be made in Juanita's honor there.
