LANCASTER, Kathy Kathy McDaniel Lancaster, age 64, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Margaret Heard McDaniel. She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, David E. Lancaster, Buford, GA; children, Jeffrey and Julie Rattray Lancaster, Dacula, GA, Kristy Lancaster Hirst, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Harrison Hirst, Mason Lancaster, Kinadey Hirst, Saralyn Lancaster; sisters, Gloria Corders, Buford, GA, Shelby Pruitt, SC, Patricia and Calvin Bryan, Helen, GA, Linda Barrs, Loganville, GA, Diane Swetman, College Park, GA, Phyllis and Ronnie Lakey, Monroe, GA; sister-in-law, Gelain Lancaster Mooney, Flowery Branch, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special niece, Darlene and Dorsey McMillian, Elberton, GA. Mrs. Lancaster was born August 9, 1952 in Sugar Hill. She was a 1969 graduate of North Gwinnett High School and was a retired insurance agent from Farm Bureau in Winder, GA. She was working part-time for Lord & Associates Insurance Firm in Covington, GA. She was a Licensed Insurance Agent. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA. No formal service is planned.
