I was saddened to read about Mrs. Norton's passing. Our families were neighbors on Spalding Drive. Whenever I think of her, I smile. She was so full of energy and joie de vivre. Her love and warmth were evident for all to see.

I knew Kay through the Methodist church. I met her in the early 2000´s at VBS. I was still new to the church, and she immediately made me feel welcomed and a part of the community. Being with Kay always felt like going home. She loved to hear about you and your family, and she made you feel like you belonged. She will be missed.

I was Kay´s hospice care giver and I loved her dearly. I will miss the conversations and laughs we had each morning. She definitely left me with so many good memories. Rest in heaven Ms. Kay!

Kay was a special person to us. She was always so kind to us and our three children. She even babysat them all over a long weekend and they all loved their "Granma Kay", the name because they did not have any grandparents of their own, so Granma Kay quickly became a big favorite when our family immigrated to the US from Sweden back in 1987.
We send our respect and deepest sympathy to Karla, her family and her siblings. We know that they all loved Kay, not the least Brittany's three children, the ones we know the most. RIP String Along, you made a lot of people happy in your many services in the community.

I was sad to read Kay has left this world. Have never known a kinder soul. We were on tennis team at Cherokee years ago. Have such fun memories of time spent with Kay. We need more Kays in our world. Blessings to her family.
