Family-Placed Death Notice
KELLEY ALINE HALPERN Kelley Aline Halpern, age 17, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2005 as a result of a car accident. Kelley was a member of the Varsity Tennis Team, a volunteer mentor at Lilburn Middle School, a member of the student volunteer committee and Future Business Leaders of America. She was also a Civil War buff and her career goal was to be a Meterologist. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edgar Grant McFarland of Oceanside, CA. She is survived by her parents, Dan and Tracy Halpern, brother, Matthew Halpern, all of Lawerenceville; grandmother, Carol McFarland of Oceanside, CA; grandparents, Peter and Diana Halpern of Anthony, NM; aunts and uncles, Elizabeth Corp of Marietta, GA; Michael Halpern of El Paso, TX; Jane and Robert Myers of Baltimore, MD; Narda McFarland of Oceanside, CA; Janet and Steve McCurdy of Milton Keynes, England; David Halpern of Las Cruces, NM; Laura McFarland of Reston, VA; cousins, Nicole and Natalie Eidschun of Oceanside, CA; Timothy, James and Jonathan McCurdy of Milton Keynes, England. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Pastor, Tom Morris officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kelley A. Halpern Memorial Fund, c/o Harvest Community Church of the Nazarene, 701 Cole Drive, Lilburn, GA 30047. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, 770-277-4550
