I was in Kent's 1965 graduating class at East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, and it was such a privilege to know him. I know he was a blessing to his family and so many others who knew him, and my prayers go out to all of his loved ones in this time of grief.

The feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable when coping with the loss of a dear loved one. However, you can turn to the Inspired Word at Hebrew 2:14.

Kent was the sweetest man I've had the privilege to know. He always had a smile on his face and twinkle in his eye. He always welcomed my children In his home as his very own. His presence will be missed.

Kent was one of the nicest person I have met in business. His patience and get-the-job-done-right attitude was very appreciated by all of us at ONtrac Sports & Entertainment, Inc. where he was our legal counsel. Our thoughts are with his family.
Requiescat in pace.

It is a shock to read of Kent's death. I remember him as a loving father to Christopher when I was a teacher in the Glenn School baby room. My thoughts are with Barbara and the rest of the family during the days ahead.

Kent was the kind of person (I work in support)who, when he called, you answered the call because you wanted to, not because it was your job. He was always gracious, even when things were not working as they should and the situation was stressful. He will certainly be missed and my prayers go out to his family in this heartbreaking time!
