Family-Placed Death Notice
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Kenneth Russell Harper of 3154 Gay Drive, Decatur, GA will be held Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Saint Philip A. M. E. Church, Decatur, GA. Reverend George Moore, Pastor. His remains will lie in state from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment Washington Memorial Gardens. He leaves to cherish his neverending memories, his daughter, Briuna Tiara; his mother, Hattie H. Harper; his father, Thomas (Mariam) Harper; his brother, Kevin (Carla) Harper; his nephew and niece, Kendall and Kennedy Harper, his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Georgia L. Hardnett; his paternal grandfather, Mr. Lonnie Harper and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the above residence at 10:00 AM, Thursday. The family will receive friends at our chapel TONIGHT from 7-8 PM. Gregory B. To the Family,
I am very saddened to hear of Kenny's passing. Adrienne and I have been very best friends since childhood and I remember Kenny when he was a little boy. Every time I would see Kenny as an adult, I was always amazed at how much of a man he had become. I was proud of him. He is in God's kingdom now and is smiling on all of you. My prayers and deepest condolescences are with the family.

To the family and friends of Kenny, I wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear of his passing. I had lost contact with the family about 10 years ago, but still remembered Kenny's smile and quietness. He always had a smile on his face whenever I saw him, and always polite. Though he is gone, he will always be with you in spirit, heart, and your memories. Kenny is being taken care of by God, and he will take care of you. On each passing day, know that other's are sharing in your grief, and uplifting you in prayer. May peace be unto you.
