He stayed Sharp! From The hat to the Shoes and the Cadillac stayed clean….. We will always remember his kind and helpful spirit…. Just a couple of weeks ago, Ronnie, Kingston and I, along with other "Old D.T. Howard" family were having lunch at Helene Mills, talking about the love and "Family Bonds" that we enjoyed in Old 4th Ward" and how we could make a difference in the lives of young people today.....We had no idea that he was about to make his transition. Although our hearts are heavy, we're so thankful to know that we shared the love of God, and that we are committed to sharing the love and joy with others as our Parents, neighbors and other "community folk" shared with us during our youth. All of whom were very important in our lives during those lean times in Butter Milk Bottom, Butler Street and other areas of Fourth Ward.
Now that we are "responsible adults", we're so humble to know that we can acknowledge God's presence in our personal lives and give him ALL of the Praise for our Parents, Grand Mothers, Teachers and all others who were instrumental in our lives growing up....... May God grant you peace, and may the many memories of your loved one provide you with the strength to know that God is able, and he won't fail....... Your many friends will ALWAYS be there to help ease the pain of your loss. God Bless and Keep each of you!
