Family-Placed Death Notice

Mr. Larry Norton Pierce, age 58, of Newnan, GA, died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 after a brief illness. Mr. Pierce was retired from Delta Airlines and also served in the U.S. Air Force. He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Janette Richards Pierce, Newnan, GA; daughter, Gina and Thomas Hall, LaGrange, GA; parents, Norton Lee and Georgia Malernee Pierce, Griffin, GA; brothers, Robert Lee, Lilburn, GA, Gregory Keith, Lithia Springs, GA; grandchildren, Dylan and Cassidy Hall. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be on Thursday, October 16, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Julian's Episcopal Church, 5400 Stewart Mill Road, Douglasville, GA, with Reverend Stewart Tabb officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis-National Chapter in Mr. Pierce's name. Arrangements by Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home, Douglasville, GA. Phone 770-942-4246

Larry was a good supervisor as well as a good friend. He was my supervisor in Department 214 Delta Air Lines. Although it has been several years since that time in Department 214, I think of them often. Rest well Larry.
