Laurie REES Obituary


Family-Placed Death Notice

REES, Laurie Laurie Witt Rees passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital following a brief illness. Laurie was born November 20,1968, in Hampton, Va. She attended school at E. Rivers Elementary, Northside High School, St. Joseph's High School and the University of Georgia. She participated in Girl Scouts, ballet, orchestra, basketball, cheerleading and young life. She is survived by her daughter, Allyson, mother, Anne Witt and a brother David Witt. A memorial service will be held 11am Saturday, February 23, in the chapel of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church.

Allyson, I was so sad to hear that you mother passed away and know that you will miss her. I know how much she loved you. I enjoyed spending graduation and Disney with you and getting to know her. It was a special day and good memory. You and your family will be in my prayers.
