Family-Placed Death Notice

LAWRENCE J. WILLIAMS Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 16, 2004 at 11:00 AM from St. Paul AME Church, 1540 Pryor Rd. SW. Dr. Thomas L. Bess, pastor presiding, Rev. C.O. Adams, Jr. (nephew) eulogist. Interment, Westview Cemetery. The remains will lie in state from 9 AM until the hour of the funeral and will not be viewed after the eulogy. The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Morris Brown College, P.O. Box 50494, Atlanta, Georgia 30302-9819. Survivors are his devoted wife of 63 years, Mrs. Linda Holt Williams, their only daughter and son-in-law, Kathy (Carlos Lewis Reese), three grandchildren, Corliss Latoye, Curwin Lewis and Christopher Lawrence, two brothers, and three sister-in-laws, Rev. and Mrs. Charles H. Adams (Elizabeth), Mrs. Emma S. Adams and Mr. and Mrs. William T. Adams (Irene), one aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Davis (Helen) and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. The family will assemble at the church at 10:30 AM. Meadows Mortuary Inc., 419 Flat Shoals Avenue, 404-522-7478.
