Lilian Robertson Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Mrs. Lilian B. Robertson, died May 6, 2004. Mrs. Robertson lived in Atlanta since World War II when her husband was attached to the British Consulate General. She only returned to England in February of 2003. She founded the Daughters of The British Empire here in Atlanta. Mrs. Robertson accompanied her husband on his many trips around the southeast. Their parties were legendary. The highlight of her life was accompaning her husband to Buckingham Palace where he was made a member of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth. The medal was bequeathed to James W. Robbins of Atlanta, their godson. Mrs. Robertson is survived by a nephew Alan Davis of London England.
