Lisa Dodd Obituary

Family-Placed Death Notice

On July 16th 2007, God brought another angel home as Lisa Mula Dodd peacefully succumbed to a 7 year battle with breast cancer. Our most giving and loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend slipped from our arms to enter eternal peace. Lisa had the most vibrant personality and giving heart of any angel on earth. Cancer may have shortened her life but it did not define her life. She seized every day and was always reaching out for new and exciting adventures. Her generosity to all who had the pleasure in sharing her day to day life will always be remembered. Lisa never met a stranger and treated everyone with love and compassion. She said her greatest achievement had been reached when she had the wonderful experience of becoming Michael Dodd's mother on March 19, 2000. Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, Lisa graduated from the University of Georgia and worked for Allstate Insurance as a Fraudulent Investigator. Without Lisa our hearts are broken and our tears are endless, but our memories and joys are immeasurable. Her laughter and smile will never leave our memories. We will continue to see Lisa in her son Michael's heart and personality. We will cherish every second spent with her and try to continue the dreams she had for Michael's future. Lisa leaves behind on earth her husband Thomas Dodd, her son Michael Dodd, her Mother Nancy McNulty, her sister Christy Sams, her nieces Bailey and Amelia Sams and her GiGi Doris Anderson. She is now experiencing God's promise with her father, Peter Mula. Rest our beautiful Lisa until we meet again and know we will keep and protect your memories forever in our hearts and soul. Memorial services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2007 at First Christian Church of Roswell. A celebration of her life will be shared after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 530109 Dept. G-00125 Atlanta, GA 30353-0109. My sincerest condolences to the Dodd family. I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Dodd a couple of months ago. She is the sweetest, most caring, toughest lil lady I have ever met. Lisa and I prayed everyday! Even when she thought she wouldn't hear from me any more, I was still in her ears praying with and for her. I will always remember how she would light up whenever she talked to me. Tom, Mom, Daddy Dodd, and Mom Dodd, all of you did a GREAT job with Lisa. You will all be in my prayers.
