Lorraine SLATER Obituary

SLATER, Lorraine July, 19, 2017. Atlanta, Georgia. Lorrie Slater, age 89, passed away July 19, 2017, to be reunited with her husband of over 50 years, Irving Slater. Lorrie was a loving and thoughtful person that made everyone feel special and cared for. She was very sharp and enjoyed talking about current events. Lorrie loved all things theatrical. She frequented musicals, enjoyed watching Hollywood classic movies, singing and listening to Tony Bennett music. She was also an avid artist and storyteller. Lorrie had a great sense of humor and a beautiful, graceful presence. Every day she would look her best to feel her best. She was a great mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Colter and Ellen Barrow, and three wonderful grandchildren Brett, Kelli and Dylan. Thank you to everyone at the William Breman Home for their genuine friendship and amazing care. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the William Breman Jewish Home in the name of Lorrie Slater. There will be a celebration the Life of Lorrie Slater in August at the William Breman Jewish Home.
