Luella Barton Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Luella Ackarman Barton, age 78 of Lilburn, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006. She was a Registered Nurse in the Army during the Korean War and in various fields of nursing for many years. Later in life she changed careers and went to work for the IRS as a tax examiner until her retirement. She is survived by her husband, William H. Barton of Lilburn, GA, daughters: Lynn Barton Houppert of Lilburn, GA and Julie Barton Manfredi of Pittsburgh, PA, grandchildren: Robbie Manfredi, Brook Torralva, Beth Richard, Mickey Manfredi, and Tony Manfredi, brother, Donald H. Ackarman of Clear Lake, IA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 4th, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Snellville United Methodist Church on Main Street in Snellville. The family will receive friends after the service in the gathering room of the church. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in memory of Luella to the building fund of Snellville United Methodist Church. Dear Bill and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the death of Lou. She was a very strong outspoken women and we will miss her. My Dad and Mother also send their sympathy at this time.
It seems as if the entire Fellowship class will be reunited in Fellowship in Heaven sooner than the children of them want.
God be with you and strengthen you in these next few days.
