I am viewing this obituary late, but I am very saddened on the loss of Dr. Rollins. I met Dr. Rollins on Atlanta Ski Club trips, and he was an absolute joy to be around. A few times we would break out in song together. I hope I was in the right key. He told me he collaborated often with the late, great Dr. Jack Hughston who practiced in Columbus, and an orthopedic hospital is named after him. I will miss Dr. Rollins at lot. Those who knew Dr. Rollins are blessed to know him or have been treated by him.

I was so sorry to hear of Dr.Rollin's passing! Last time I saw him was 4 yrs. ago at my father's 80th birthday party! He was wearing cowboy boots & just as spry as I always remembered him! I know he's full of peace & joy as he's finally reunited w/his beautiful wife & love of his life! I'll always have fond memories growing up w/him & his family. We spent lots of good times together! My prayers are the family.
Love, Elizabeth Crane

I first met Dr, Rollins when I was 15 years old, I am now 62. He operated on my thyroid when I was 15 and then again when I was 16.I knew I liked him, he had a great sense of humor and kept me from being scared of what was happening. I will never forget him, he was a fine doctor and a great human being. Prayers going out to comfort the family.

There are too many wonderful memories of growing up with Luther and all the Rollins family! Dancing with Luther at the AYC to 'Bad,Bad Leroy Brown' or ' Jeremiah was a Bullfrog', water skiing, and definitely yodeling on the slopes of Steamboat Springs, while shussing down'Giggle Gulch'. And my Dad, Scott and Luther drinking wine at the 'Nites Rest Motel', singing and waxing their skis. And Marlyn, Elizabeth and I performing our'Ring-a-Ding'dances. Luther is dancing and singing with his beloved, gorgeous Frankie right now!
Love to all, Chrissie James Thead

I have such fond memories of the time spent together.. Our many trips, skiing in Europe and Steamboat, boy choir time and family gatherings. Since moving to LA I have lost touch of so many but still hold wonderful remembrances and family shared along with Luther's hone make wines. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family.

I enjoyed getting to know Dr Rollins when he sang with us in the ABC Men's Choir some years ago. I appreciated his many talents and the way he never met a stranger. I know you'll miss him but that you're thankful for his long and productive life. I'm sure he's in the place of the blessed.
