Malcolm McDonald Obituary
He graduated Washington Lee High School, Arlington, VA, received his Bachelor's degree from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC. Served in U. S. Air Force. Received his Law Degree from George Washington University, Georgetown, Washington, D.C.
Survived by wife of 31 years, Meredith Reid McDonald and first wife, Dorothy Folk McDonald, mother of his children: Kelli McDonald Boye, Charlotte, NC, Matthew McDonald (Monica) of Atlanta, GA, Chris McDonald (Haley) of Milton, GA, Stepson Christopher Burr (Regan) of Milton, GA and Stepdaughter Lauren Miller (Mark) of Silverdale, WA. Eight Grandchildren and 4 Great grandchildren.
Retired, after 20+ years, from The Allstate Insurance Company in 1989 as Sales Manager in SE Region.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, January 20th at 2:00 pm, St. David's Episcopal Church, Roswell, GA. In the Spring his remains will be transported to the Florida Keys and distributed offshore.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests any donation be made to The Alzheimer's Association at the following link : www.Alzhiemer's Association.

Ted was such a big part of St. Columba. He helped with all of our activities. We had our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper this week at the church and remembered him with great fondness.

Some of my best memories when I was a child were when I was with the McDonalds at the Sand Box in Bethany beach. I was sorry to hear that Uncle Ted had passed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

Jim and I are thinking of Uncle Ted, and all his friends and family, during these sad days. We wish you comfort and peace in your love for each other and for Ted. I remember absolute amazement as a child that my Uncle Ted owned and flew a plane! His adventurous spirit and joy in life survives in his children and their children. His soul is now free to soar again.
