I am overshadowed with sadness to learn of Marcus Ushry's passing, but I know he is in a much better place. I was his 8th grade English teacher, and I will forever remember his kind smile, dreams of greatness and positive, uplifting spirit. He was truly a joy to teach. May God watch over both family and friends during this difficult time, and please know that my prayers for peace and understanding are with you.

My heart is very heavy with grief due to receiving word of my dear Marcus' transition. I sincerely offer my condolences to his parents and other members of his family! Marcus and my son were best friends during Middle and High School, I know he has been received by God's Loving Hands and has been laid to Rest In Paradise with our Lord, Jesus Christ!!!
Prayers will be offered on the family's behalf for comfort, strength and peace during the loss of our beloved Marcus Jamel Ushry!!
