Family-Placed Death Notice
CRAWFORD, Margaret W. MARGARET W. CRAWFORD Margaret W. Crawford, 83, a native of Atlanta, presently of Lawrence-ville died Wednesday, July 1, 2009. She is survived by daughter, Vicki Crawford Kelly of Hoschton; Susan Crawford Kelson and husband Lance Kelson of Alpharetta; son, Wayne Crawford of Frisco, CO; sister, Polly Whitlow Johnson of Mineral Wells, TX; longtime companion, Albert Wild; grandchildren Lee Collins, Dana Kelson, and Lexi Kelson; and great grandchild, Hunter Collins. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 6, 2009, at 12pm at Sandy Springs Chapel. Rev. Victor Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 56566, Atlanta, GA 30343. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 5, 2009, from 6-8pm at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.

Our condolences to the extended Crawford family. As I told Wayne when he notified me about his mothers condition, she was an inspiration and a good role model for us as kids for her perseverance in raising such a good family in the face of the obstacles of single parenthood. She will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
