CHERYL WALLACE

January 5, 2009

Forgive me for being so slow to write in her book. I was still suffering the loss of my mother Jan 4th ,2008 and now I have lost my second mom. She was a loving and caring person who thought of what is best for her family at all times. When my mother died she was there with David, Dale and Lary. I was standing in the aisle of the church feeling so lost when mom walked up to me and said," Cheryl, I could never replace your mother but I would love to be your mom. I love you, child." She kissed me and hugged me as I tearfully said " Mom you have always been my other mom. I love you, too." Then I lost her a few months later. Two wonderfully strong and irreplaceable women. Vios con dios, mom.

Dale-
I was sorry to hear of your mothers passing. She will always be a part of my childhood memories "growing up" at the beach. I still see her sitting at her table near the pool. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Debbie, David, Donna & Dale: Please know that our thoughts are with you at this time. We loved your Mom and will always cherish those wonderful times when she and Uncle Lary visited with us. It was such a fun time for us (she made such good dressing to go with our turkey). We will miss her great humor and shall never forget her style. We are so glad we have those memories. Our love to you all.
