Mary Hobbs Obituary
Binghamton: Mary Ann Hobbs, 60, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Her life was dedicated to her children and helping others. She put the ones she loved before herself. Mary Ann is survived by her children, William Hobbs, Binghamton, Betty Hobbs, Binghamton, Shirley Hobbs, Kirkwood, Jamie Hobbs, Binghamton and Joseph Hobbs, Binghamton; 17 treasured grandchildren; brother, Argie Hobbs, Windsor. She was loved by several stepchildren. She leaves behind Milrene Smith, for whom Mary Ann was caretaker for 27 years. Mary Ann worked for Southern Tier Independence Center for many years. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend Dann Travis officiating. Mary, you were an amazing lady. I remember playing outback of building 4 and you would always smile when I would ride my bike by. You devoted your life to take care of others and there are not many people who have a heart like you did. May you rest in peace <3
