LORENZO, Matthew John On the morning of March 19, 2015, Matt passed away at Emory Midtown Hospital of Atlanta, GA following an 18 month battle with cancer. Matt was 36. I was sad to here about Matt's passing. I met him being apart of the Atlanta Sports Council. He was someone I enjoyed seeing progress in his career and when we saw each other we talked about family. He was very proud of his wife Lauren, and I want Luke Anthony to know that he had a smart father who was strong, and was so excited about him being born, and loved him very much. My prayers go out to Lauren, The Lorenzo and Ulm family.

Please know that I am thinking of you and your family. I am a colleague of your brother Matt in Florida and met you at Matt's house during Baptism of Declan. Amy Dyar

Our family wants to share our sympathies with all of Matt's Family. Matt was a brave man and he will be sadly missed. Matthew was one of my youngest cousins and we did not know each other well due to distance of where we live, When we met up last summer I could see he was very strong in many ways, he seemed to be great father to Luke and he also was brave in his outlook of what was to come. I feel so blessed to have spent time with the family and will cherish his memory.
