I did not know Max long, but he had a great impact on my life. In the short time I knew Max, he brought a smile to my face, and he was so kind. I was lucky to know him, and think of him quite often. Rest Easy Max. We miss you man

Rae Ann and Steve,
I was so sorry to hear of Max's death. Having 2 boys in college, I can't imagine getting that phone call. I arrived at the church right at 8:30 PM Mon evening and the doors had just closed. I know nothing can ease the pain now but I just wanted you to know that Gina and I are praying for you.

Our hearts ache for you, Rae Ann, Steve, Alex and Lily, as we think about how glad we are that we were privileged to spend some time with Max.
When Alex's baseball team was in Cooperstown, we were fortunate to watch games near Max, James, and Carson. They were very considerate of us seniors and politely helped us understand the game better. When we saw Max later from time to time, he still could not have been more friendly and pleasant. Obviously, a loved and wonderful young man.
The world will be poorer without the contributions Max was poised to make and he will be immeasurably missed.
With our love and concern for your entire family,
Colleen H

I have no words to express my sincerest sympathies. My son is a sophomore at LSU and was sickened and devastated by the death of your son. It has been a very difficult week for many on campus, losing a fellow classmate so young is not supposed to happen. Please know that you are in so many peoples thoughts and prayers. May God bless you with some peace at this most difficult time.
