Michael was a great friend of mine when we were in college at SUNY-Binghamton. He was a wonderful guitar player (12-string!), and an inspiration to many. His romance with Helene was so beautiful that everyone around him aspired to experience the happiness that he had. A lovely person.

As I got a message this was to be taken down, I must again add that I think of Dr L often. I also hope his family is adjusting. I'm sure he is watching over them all.

I worked with Dr. Levinson both in Atlanta and the new Kennesaw office. He was a great friend, wonderful boss and real inspiraion to me.
I tried to keep in touch and count him and Helaine as two of the most special, kind and generous people I have ever known.
I did not learn of his passing until the chiropractor who was treating me for a shoulder injury told me of his passing in May. I so wish I could have been at his memorial service, but listened to it on-line, in awe of the ways he touched so many lives.
I will always keep Joshua, Arielle and David in my prayers as I knew them as babies and saw the joy they brought to their parents. God leaves them a beautiful legacy and I pray for their comfort and strength, for always.
With Love and Deepest Sympathy,

Lauren Lorentzson

I just got an email that the guestbook will soon be taken down. It's hard to bellieve Mike's been gone almost a year. I miss him terribly and think of him very often. I hope the family is well and adjusting.

I am sadden for your loss. Dr. Levinson took me on as a patient when many others would not. My back and neck history was such that many would not see me. Michael accepted me as a patient and showed genuine concern for my health. He always went a little further to chat with me and talk about things in general. He was kind and caring. I will miss him.

I saw Dr. L in August and was so saddened to hear what happened when I called recently for another appointment. He was heartbroken when he lost Helaina but again found love and life in Geri. I am so saddened to know I will not see his smiling face again. He was such a caring man! May God bless Geri and his children and take comfort in the beautiful legacy her left behind.

So sorry to hear this sad news. We had a neighborhood playgroup in Lawrenceville when our children were young and spent many happy times with the Levinson's. My heart goes out to Joshua, Arielle, and David and the rest of the Levinson family.

My family and I knew Dr. Levinson for 13 years. We moved to our new home in 1999, and I was looking for a chiropractor and found Dr. Levinson in my primary care directory. I made an appointment and from the day we met we clicked. We were both from New York City so we had a lot in common. As the years past, we shared stories of our families and I was able to comfort him when he lost his wife. We got through that and I saw how happy he was when he met Geri. In fact, the last time I saw him was right after July 4, 2012 when he did the Peachtree Road Race with Geri and I told him how proud I was of him...I told him I did a 5K in Orlando with my daughter. Anyway, I could go on and on, because Dr. Levinson was a very special person and we had a very special friendship. I wouldn't visit him for months and when I would walk in his office he would say "I must have done something right because you are back" . There were times that he would call me personally at work or on my cell phone to say hello and see how I was feeling. He is such a great loss. I lost it this morning Wednesday, Oct. 10th when I called to make an appointment and Debbie told me that he had passed. You will missed my friend. Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

So sorry to hear of Michael's passing. May God bring comfort to his children. and much needed peace to Geri his wife. - They'd just found each other, really!
She was the gift that brought him much happiness.
There never feels to be enough time spent with the ones we love so dearly. Which is especially true in this case.

Michael was literally one of my first friends, we met when we were about 18 months old! I had the pleasure of hosting his daughter during her trip to Israel. I am so sorry for your loss, and my heart goes out to all of you.

I met Michael my first week in practice. Our offices were in the same complex. We became friends immediately and continued a friendship for 26 years. I can not believe this sweet ,sincere, intelligent man has left us so soon. My heart goes out to Geri,Joshua, Ariel , David and the rest of his family .He adored his children- being a good Father was everything to him .His losses in life were great , but he met each challenge with an honesty and determination that I admired greatly. I am comforted to know that he found new love with Geri.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and the friends who are feeling the loss of this beautiful person.

Dr. Levinson was a great friend and doctor! He helped me get back into playing soccer many times after fixing me – he went out of his way to get me ready for a soccer tournament couple of years ago. I will deeply miss him and our futbol conversations. My thoughts and prayers go to his family.

Dr. Levinson was one of the first people I met in Kennesaw in 2006 after moving here from Florida. I needed a good chiropractor and Dr. Levinson was the best! I am a true believer that people cross paths for a reason and Dr. Levinson left a wonderful mark in my life. Doctor as he was called around the office always had a positive outlook and a smile. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family!

Dr. Levinson was my doctor for over 10 years. He helped me in so many ways and always had a great attitude. We could talk about most anything to get the head straight. I,like others that knew him, will miss him greatly for his kind words, work ethic and talks about the PEACHTREE. I never could get him to do a half marathon, but he kept me going. My prayers for the family for such a great loss to us all.

I concur with what my Husband, Dale Leger, wrote, Dr. Levinson was not only our doctor, but he was our friend. He spoke of his wife and children often, I felt that I knew them well, even though I only met his children briefly. He was so very proud of them. He was not only a great doctor, but a great person and family man. I will miss him greatly! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Dr. Levinson was truly a wonderful person and doctor. He helped me so much, when other doctors could not. He was also so nice and kind. He impacted many lives in such a powerful way, but very humble as he went about his work. He will be truly missed by so many, and I am praying for the family.

I knew Mike personally and professionally for many years. He was, as others have written, a man of compassion and caring. His patients loved him for it. He was a fine man, a dear friend and I will miss him always. My life is richer, however, because Mike Levinson was my friend. Peace to Geri and all of Mike's family who he loved so much and talked about always.

Dale Leger

My wife and I were patients of Dr Levinson for more than 10 years. More than being patients we were friends. Since I live near his office we would sometimes have lunch together. He talked about the wonderful kids and his new wife. Words cannot express how I feel of the loss of a good friend. The world is truly a lesser place with his passing.

Michael left this realm a better place because of his caring and compassionate heart, loving nature and good humor. His unseen acts of kindness will be remembered and always appreciated as a legacy testament. Rest in peace dear friend and thank you. Always in my prayers for you and your family.
