Micheal was my cousin. We grew up together and enjoyed many Holiday gathering together. We all had so much fun. The last time I saw my three cousins was at Uncle Edward's funeral in 1985. I was so sorry to find through my search for him that he had passed away. I am the daughter of Marguerite Lund who was my Uncle Edwards sister.

MICHAEL,

IT HAS BEEN A YEAR SINCE YOU LEFT US. IN A
WAY THE TIME HAS FLOWN, AND IN ANOTHER WAY IT SEEMS LIKE FOREVER.

THINGS ARE GOING WELL. AMY AND MATT ARE
GETTING MARRIED IM JUNE. WE ARE ALL
EXCITED ABOUT THE WEDDING IN THE BAHAMAS.

JASON IS DOING FINE, WORKING HARD AND
FIXING UP HIS NEW HOUSE.

WE WILL THINK OF YOU DURING THE WEDDING
AND WISH THAT YOU WERE THERE, BUT WE KNOW
YOU WILL BE THERE IN SPIRIT, AND WILL BE
VERY PROUD.

WE THINK OF YOU OFTEN, AND WILL ALWAYS
KEEP YOU IN OUR HEARTS.

UNTIL WE ALL MEET AGAIN,

LOVE,
ANN

HI MIKIE,
WELL, IT'S BEEN SIX MONTHS NOW.
IN A WAY IT SEEMS LIKE SIX YEARS.

I MOVED INTO MY NEW CONDO. I THINK YOU WOULD LIKE IT A LOT.
IT'S VERY PRIVATE AND PEACEFUL,
BUT THE NEIGHBORS ARE FRIENDLY!

AMY AND JASON, BOTH, GOT NEW
HOUSES IN SEPTEMBER. THEY ARE
BOTH DOING VERY WELL. YOU WERE
ALWAYS PROUD OF THEM, AND I'M
SURE YOU STILL ARE.

EVERYONE IS THE FAMILY IS DOING
FINE. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD
TO THE UPCOMING HOLIDAYS, BUT
WILL MISS YOU BEING HERE.

TALK TO YOU LATER.

LOVE,
ANN

Mike,
Well, it took a while before I could enter anything into your book.
I still have a hard time believing you are gone. I guess because we so seldom kept in contact, I figure all I have to do is pick up the phone and you will be there. Chances missed are chances gone forever.
I will miss you, brother, and I wish we could have spent more time together. My fault. I never did keep in touch with the family.
Ann and Amy are holding up well, a strong family. I envy them their strength.
Later, my friend, when I can write more.

MIKE,
WE THOUGHT OF YOU ON THE 4TH.
YOU ALWAYS ENJOYED COOKING OUT, AND HAVING FRIENDS OVER
ON THIS SPECIAL DAY.
THIS YEAR WE WENT TO LAKE LANIER ISLANDS TO SEE THE FIREWORKS, IT WAS GORGEOUS.
YOU WERE THERE WITH US, IN
SPIRIT, I'M SURE.

LOVE,
ANN

MICHAEL,
EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE NOT HERE
WITH US ON FATHER'S DAY, YOU
ARE IN OUR THOUGHTS. WE ARE
RECALLING ALL OF THE GREAT FATHER'S DAYS OF YEARS PAST,
AND REMEMBERING WHAT A WONDERFUL FATHER YOU ALWAYS
WERE.

LOVE, ANN, AMY AND JASON

Pat and I miss talking to you. You used to give me the incentive to keep on going with Pat's disabilities and will miss those calls. Happy birthday, Mike.

Dad,

Missing you tons on your 62nd birthday. Of course, this year I kept seeing things I could get for you everywhere I went... funny how that happens. We are all doing well considering-- Your loss left a hole that can never be filled. I constantly remind myself that I am lucky to have had a father, a great one, for as long as I did. We are so grateful for the fact that you did your best to be with us as long as you could, never giving up, no matter the pain it caused you. We are thinking of you always...

Love, me

MICHAEL,
WE MISS YOU VERY MUCH, BUT WE
ARE COMFORTED KNOWING THAT
YOUR LONG STRUGGLE IS OVER, AND
THAT YOU ARE WITH GOD. WE ARE
GRATEFUL THAT YOU NO LONGER
HAVE TO SUFFER WITH CONSTANT
PAIN.
WE WILL BE WITH YOU SOME DAY,
WHEN GOD CALLS US HOME, BUT
UNTIL THEN, YOU WILL REMAIN
IN OUR HEARTS AND PRAYERS.
LOVE,
ANN, AMY AND JASON
