Family-Placed Death Notice
HARDY, Myra L. MYRA L. HARDY April 29, 1929-November 9, 2012 Myra was born in Ottawa, Ontario. She was married to Michael Hardy on November 15, 1952. Michael preceded Myra in death on November 3, 2012. They were married to their one true love for 60 years. Myra was a full-time dedicated wife & mother. She enjoyed shopping, reading, cooking, & spending time with her family & her dog. She had a terrific sense of humor that will be missed by all who knew her. Daughter of Donat & Violet Bigue. Myra is survived by her daughter Debbie Stoddard (Tom MacKay) of Vernon, BC & Michael Hardy of Atlanta, GA. Grandchildren Christopher Stoddard (Melanie) of Vancouver, BC, Rachael Whitaker (Matthew) of Chapin, SC, Shawn Stoddard (Carley) of Kelowna, BC, Jonathan & Brooke Hardy of Cumming, GA. Great- grandchildren Rylan & Devon of Kelowna, BC. Sister Ada Kolesar (Michael) of Ottawa, Ont. Special thanks to Wende Hardy, Cyndi Culver, & staff of United Hospice for wonderful care given.
