I met Nancy while at MD Anderson with my mother, it was both of their first diagnostic appointments. We instantly clicked and found comfort in each other and our ability to find humor in the situation and events that were happening. We'd stayed in touch periodically over the next couple of years, and I just read of her passing.

My sincere condolences to the family. She was truly a light in this world, and I know will be missed.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I met Nancy when she was just a teenager when I worked for her mother Florence at the Hershey Medical Center. I know the love that Florence has for her children and grandchildren and know this is a sad time for all. I am so sorry for your loss of a dear wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt.

Nancy was always bright and cheerful as a student at the Henry Grady School of Journalism at UGA - where I met her. Our paths crossed one Saturday in Farmville, Virginia at a rug shop of all places. Sorry to hear of her passing. Sincerely, Michael A. Murray - Greensboro, NC.
