Mrs. Wright was sweet, kind, and a loving servant of the Lord Jesus Christ who ministered to many people at Good Samaritan Center. We cherish the wonderful memories that we have of her. She will be sorely missed by many of us.

Nancy always was concerned and expressed hope to others with fighting cancer and struggling with it herself. Her spirit and encouraged was a shinning light that will go on in the lives of all those she encouraged. What a testament to her faith in Christ.

I first met Nancy in the spring of 2001 in the chemo room of Northwest Georgia Oncology Center near WellStar Douglas. I was new to the group, but Nancy had been in treatment for a while. I noticed how attractive she was and so quietly dignified. We discovered from a conversation that she and
Doug had been lower classmen at DCHS when my brother-in-law, Dewey
Hunter was there. I did not see Nancy again until she happened to come by
the Good Samaritan Center while I was dropping off a donation sometime in
late 2002 or maybe 2003. I had to share with her the sad news that my dear
husband, Hubert had lost his battle with lung cancer on July 1, 2002. Nancy
had the ability to look into your eyes and say without speaking "I understand".

May God touch all of you in a special way in the days ahead.

Sincerely,
Judy Jerkins Garner

We are so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Wright was clearly a person filled with goodness and love. She had a giving Spirit. She often cooked for Marcus's co-workers. We will sorely miss her and her pound cakes. There was never a crumb left.
Love and sympathy to the many who knew and loved her.

One of the sweetest ladies I've known. She was a true example of a lady, with a genuine caring spirit and courageous heart. I learned from her how to face challenges with grace and a beautiful smile (and a little lipstick). ;) I'll miss her presence -- holding close treasured memories. Love and sympathy to all who loved sweet Nan!

I enjoyed working with and being with Nancy at The Good Samaritan in many years past and in community events together. She was always so gracious, kind and loving to both Steve and to me, she was always so appreciative of my company's donations on my behalf and always wrote beautiful and eloquent letters of appreciation. Nancy, our dear friend, was so beloved. May God dearly bless Nancy's family as Nancy's life blessed all of us. Blessings, June Carden Keen

Nancy was my pew buddy. Funny to say but, if someone in the Presbyterian community passed we one of us saved a seat for the other to pay our respects. That was my sweet Nancy. She always hsd time for family, Church, friends and the community. She was one of God's special people. She was definitely special to me and the Rider family. Our prayers are with the family during this time. This community just lost one great lady.

Nancy was the perfect embodiment of a genteel southern lady. She was a Godly woman and always had a kind word for everyone. I will miss her sweet spirit. Oh! AND she was quite the fashion plate.

What a lovely, kind lady. She blessed so many lives with her years of service at the Good Samaritan Center, at First Presbyterian Church, and in the Douglas County community. I am grateful to have known her. I pray the comfort of the Holy Spirit on the family and all who loved her. She will be missed.
