Family-Placed Death Notice

Patricia Flake McDonald passed away Friday, December 23, 2005 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was a beloved and dedicated wife of the late Dr. Harold McDonald, Jr. Pat was a devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren and great-aunt three children. She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Hart, her sister, Peggy Russell, her brother, Macksy Flake, and her niece, Tasha Caldwell, all of Memphis. She is also survived by her four children, Callie Breden, of Fayetteville, AR, Paul McDonald, of Atlanta, GA, David McDonald, of Acworth, GA, and Steven McDonald, of Destin, FL. Pat will be deeply missed by her friends and family. For we have great joy and consolation in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother. Philemon 1:7. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 today in the chapel at Central Church, 2005 Winchester Blvd., Collierville, TN. The family requests taht any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society. Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Let us all be comforted in knowing that she is in the presence of her Heavenly Father where there is only peace, joy and unending love. Her journey into her new life has just begun. No more pain or sickness, she has complete and total healing.
