Family-Placed Death Notice

TORMA, Paul PAUL RAYMOND TORMA Paul Raymond Torma, 71, of Austell, was born in Passaic, NJ in 1940 and died January 22, 2012, of cancer. He will be sorely missed by family and friends. He was a man of many accomplishments, most notably as a United States Marine. He was a great American patriot who adapted and overcame many things during his lifetime. He was particularly proud of obtaining his Bachelor's degree later in his life. He is survived by his life partner, Allison Schaeffer; children, Paul Torma, Jr.; siblings, Georgia Cina, Richard Gros, Dorothy Britton; grandchildren, Tiffany Epperson, Brittany Torma; and great grandchildren, Hannah and Hayden Epperson. To quote Charles Greene "When Paul liked you he was the best friend you ever had." A memorial service honoring his life will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Thursday from 12 - 2 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be offered to Tranquility Hospice, 4040 Hospital West Dr, Austell, GA 30106.
