Paula was like a sister to me for the first 25 years of my life. Our mothers were friends, and she was born five months after me. We shared so much through grade school, high school and while we were in college. We vacationed together, attended innumerable slumber parties, went to band camp and spent way too much time obsessing about boys. I was thrilled to be the matron of honor at her first wedding and soon after that we spent many lazy hours poolside during a summer when she and John and my husband and I lived in the same apartment complex. Paula loved to laugh, and I loved to laugh with her. She was so smart and probably more goal-oriented that anyone else I knew in our small southern Ohio town. It was always obvious that she would be successful in her work and life. We grew apart and haven't seen much of each other lately, but we were in touch on the day she married Bob. She was so very happy, and I was so happy for her. Her passing has left a big hole in my heart . Lisa and Beth, I can't imagine how much you miss her. Bob, even though I don't know you, I know what a very special person Paula was and how devastated you must be to lose her so soon. hope you find comfort with memories of the joy you shared.

I worked with Paula at the Lazarus Westland store in 1986. She was bright, energetic, and a hard worker. She always had a pleasant personality. It was clear she would rise in the Federated-Macy's organizations.
