GARVIN, Rick Mr. Richard Hugh 'Rick' Garvin, age 60 of Covington, died Sunday, October 9, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Lamoree Garvin; daughter and son-in-law, Shawn Garvin Franke and Grant Franke; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew Ryan and Bonnie Garvin; grandchildren, Michaela, William, Katie, Zach, Tyler, Wesley; father, Bud and Sandra Garvin; mother, Joan Wang; brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Angela Garvin, Scott and Karen Garvin, Neil Garvin; multiple Lamoree in-laws; multiple aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Garvin was a loving husband, father and dedicated PaPa and will be dearly missed. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
