Katherine and I have been friends for 18 years. Whenever I would go over to her house Mr. Bizzell would pull up a chair and want to know what was going on in my life. I was just a teen.. most parents just wanted to know where we were going and when we were going to be home.. but he wanted to know about me. This never changed! As I got older and had my family I would see him and he still wanted to know all about me.. the kids.. Glenn.. work.. He asked because he cared what was going on in my life. It was his way of making you feel loved.. and it worked! This was a gift he had and I feel blessed he shared it with me!

He is the greatest man I have ever known! I am grateful beyond words, for the father he chose to be and the faith in our Savior he chose to cling to. It didn't matter what the circumstances were, he always believed that God was sovriegn. He left a legacy of faith, service and giving unselfishly of oneself. This legacy will live on for generations to come. My words seem so insufficient, to honor the man that he was, but know that he was my hero and I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I was loved. Thank you, Daddy!

We want you to know how much we loved "Mr. Bob". The first thing my girls would do when we came in from Gymnastics or Cheerleading practice at night was to see if he was at the window so that they could wave. He holds a very special place in our hearts and will always be remembered.
Love, Mike, Angie, Jordan, Amelia and Abbi Wielputz.
