Today as I played around with some of the Social Media programs such Facebook which I have recently found as great tool for keeping in touch with family, I discovered why again it is such a great tool.
As I searched for some family members that I might be able to reconnect with using Facebook, I discovered that my Step Cousin “Robby” had passed away. I had not seen Robby in probably 40 years, yet his death has deeply saddened me.
I have fond memories of Robby who was the eldest cousin and son of my uncle Lou and Aunt Jessie. My thoughts are with his partner of more than 30 years and his family as they enter holiday seasons absent this great man. Millions of relationships have not endured a 10th as long as Robby and Howell’s. That says something.
I now begin the delayed morning process for this loss.
