Robert and Donna FIALA

FIALA, Robert and Donna Robert Fiala, 44 and Donna Bolding Fiala, 53, died in a traffic accident on April 7, 2017 in Pender County, North Carolina. Their 17 month old son and love of their life, Soren Fiala, survived the accident. He is in the care of family members. Robert and Donna were married in the Republic of South Africa on March 16, 2013. Robert Fiala held dual citizenship in the United States and the Republic of South Africa. He graduated High School in Pertoria, South Africa and served his country in the South African Navy. Robert was a sales director for Georgia Crown Distributing. Robert is survived by his mother, Linda Fiala of South Africa and his brother David Fiala, wife Laura Garcia Fiala and daughter Alicia. Robert is preceded in death by his father, Walter Fiala. Donna was born in High Point NC. She is a graduate of Ragsdale High School, earned her undergraduate degree from East Carolina University and earned her Master's Degree from Thomas Jefferson University. Donna was self-employed as a healthcare/long-term care consultant operating AQAC Consulting, LLC. Donna is survived by her three brothers, Jim Bolding, wife Marsha Bolding, daughter Carrie Scarlett, husband Brad Scarlett, daughter Brenn Bolding; David Bolding, wife Jill Bolding; Steven Bolding, wife Carol Bolding, sons, William Bolding, Jonathan Bolding and his wife Joanna Bolding. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, William and Penny Bolding. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Cumby Family Funeral Service on Eastchester Drive in High Point, NC. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday April 21, 2017. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given to a scholarship fund for Soren Fiala.
