Although, Robert has transitioned to be with the Lord..his kind spirit and compassion for life has inspired a continuous growth of encouragement in many he had known.
Knowing Robert and his many talents he possessed...he still gave respect, encouragement and assistance to those he could help .
To his family and friends...he made a difference in my life.. Keeping me inspired and trusting God for changes on my journey.
I miss Robert... However, the promise and comfort from God exist that we shall meet again...keeps me smiling.
I met one of God's chosen.... A reflection of his remembrance in our hearts always.
May we all be kept in comfort....He is in the arms of. Jesus Christ.

Dina,

To the family of Robert McMichael III (Trey) and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert McMichael II; please accept my sincere condolences in the death of Trey. He was truly a gifted person and servant of the Lord.
I am a witness to his wonders (in music and song) at several funerals where through his work, he was able to uplift those who were sadden. May the Lord continue to watch over his family for I know he is in a place where he is conducting a choir of Angels.

We will miss his wonderful vioice and his witness at our annual conference in Montgomery, AL in June. We were blessed to have him for three years. Keeping his family in our prayers for the journey they must take in his loss.

Robert's voice regularly brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. You could feel God working in you through his voice. He was also a gifted pastor and I enjoyed the sermons he delivered at Mt. Bethel UMC. I am sad to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family.

Robert had the voice of an angel. Now he is singing with them. What a terrible loss here on earth for Dina and their children, and his parents, and all those who loved and were inspired by him. He was an amazing man, and it was such a joy to be in his presence.

Words cannot describe the grief I feel for Robert's family. I send my sincere condolences. I also know that he is in eternal paradise. Having gone to seminary with him, Robert welcomed me to campus, and took me under his wing. We also shared our love for music together. A selfless and godly man, who always put others first. My family and I send our sincerest thoughts and prayers to Trey's family during this difficult time. Trey will forever be remembered for his hearty laugh and bright smile as well as his musical prowess. I thank God for having known him in my lifetime. He's accompanied me on piano in the past and we ended up singing for other programs and at homegoing celebrations together. It was a joy to know Trey...he always had a smile on his lips and a song in his heart!! It was a joy to learn from him and hear him sang ...he had a old soul and knew all the hymns I learned as a teenager. We will miss his spirit, his joy for life and his love for the Lord!!

A person that departs from this world never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds and through your children they live on. Dina Please accept my heart felt condolences to you and your precious family. He will not be forgotten. I loved seeing Robert come in the daycare. We were honored to see you perform the sermon at one of the sunrise Easter services 4-5 years ago at Mt. Bethel UMC in Marietta. You inspired us to begin attending church again, where we were blessed with heveanly songs sung by you. You reached so many people's hearts and inspired them through your words and through song. Although we did not know you personally, I cannot imagine the loss your family is feeling. I do know that you will be markedly missed by many and your imprint on many people's lives and their faith is eternal.

Our hearts just break for you, Dina, and your boys, as this wonderful man has been called home way too soon. Week after week, he lifted our bodies and souls heavenward, with the beauty and power of his incredible voice. He made the spirit of our Lord come alive for us when he'd sing for the glory of God.

My family started attending Mt. Bethel after my husband passed away in May 2013. We fell in love with Rev, McMichael right away and joined the church in 2014. His singing was anointed and he blessed our souls every Sunday. He sang at my eldest son's wedding last May. My daughter-in-law is from Indonesia and I have posted a picture with him speaking her parents in Indonesia after the wedding on face time. He was a remarkable singer, preacher and teacher and a true man of God. Our hearts were broken when he announced a few months later he was leaving Mt. Bethel. Robert filled the sanctuary at Mt Bethel with love music and the Holy Spirit. We are devastated by his loss and continue to pray for Dina and family. We all know what Roberts spiritual gifts were and he used them to touch our souls. Thanking God for him.
