Mr. Robert N. Stauffer, 80, of Atlanta, died February 10, 2004, Mr. Stauffer was born November 1, 1923, in Cleveland, OH. He was a graduate of Swarthmore College and served in the Navy during WWII. He received his Masters of Engineering from the University of Michigan. He worked for the Jervis B. Webb Co. of Detroit, Michigan for his entire career, over 40 years, a rarity today. He began as a sales engineer and eventually became Vice President and General Manager of the Southern Division of Webb. In Atlanta, he was an active member of Clairmont Presbyterian Church, where he sang in the choir for many years. Bob was an avid golfer, a sports enthusiast, and a longtime fan of the Braves, Falcons. and Michigan Wolverines. He was also a dedicated member of The Rotary Club of Marietta. There he became very interested in the Rotary Exchange Program and hosted many foreign students through this program. He and his wife, Carol, made several trips to visit Rotary Clubs In Gem1any where they made many close friends who came and visited them. Bob enjoyed travel so much, he joined the Friendship Force and took trips to Russia and New Zealand, widening even more his circle of friends. Wherever he went, he wanted to learn about people and make them a part of his life. He lived his life to the fullest every day. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol; his daughters, Christy, Laurie and Wendy; son, Rick; and nine grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 15, 2004 at 2pm at Clairmont Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Susan G.
