One of the nicest, kindest, caring and devoted husbands I have ever met. I don't recall him ever saying an unkind word about anyone. I will truly miss his presence in the choirs at Flipper Temple, the caring touch he always showed to Mrs. Threatt and his helpful hands around the church for whatever was needed. Rest in Peace.

Dr. Threatt was my 7th grade teacher in Pine Mountain, Georgia many, many years ago as he began his teaching career. I remember him as a sincere and dedicated teacher. He boarded in our home for a while which meant that my siblings and I had to walk a narrow path at school and at home. He was an inspiration to me and I give him the credit for my success in the educational arena. He will certainly be missed. To Mrs Threatt and family: You have my sincere condolences. My God grant you peace and comfort during this most difficult time. Love you!
