Tammy Brayton

Tammy Brayton, age 68, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to Robert Benjamin Freese and Martha Burkholder Freese. Mrs. Brayton was known for her kind heart, generosity and loving spirit. She enjoyed her grandchildren, crafting, painting, shopping, and, most of all, helping others however she could. Tammy was a devoted prayer warrior whose faith guided her daily life and touched many around her.

One of her greatest joys was adventure and traveling with her husband, Paul, with whom she shared 40 loving years of marriage.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Paul Brayton; her son and daughter-in-law, Warren and Terra Foster; her step-son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Miranda Brayton; her grandchildren, Carly Foster, Marah, John Foster, Abigail Brayton, and Clara Brayton; her great-granddaughter, Delta Clines; and her stepsister and brother-in-law, Jill and Steve Daum.

The family will have a memorial service celebrating Tammy's life in the Robert A. Cagle Memorial Chapel at Cagle Funeral Home in Jasper, Georgia on Saturday, April 18 at 2PM. Family and friends are encouraged to gather from 12PM to the 2PM service time for fellowship.
